Buyer Beware!
Have you ever noticed that when your are looking for information on the Internet, offers come up for giving you free information? ;On the Internet these so called free tools promise that they will make your online business grow to infinity. There is always a catch. With free information available: Buyer beware!
I know from experience that I never hesitated to put in my email address and click the Submit button. I would like to point out that some of these Internet tool downloads are really genuine. Like Small Business Mavericks. They offer free articles, information, and believe it or not, free e-books. They also offer free
E-zine, articles etc. I could go on but I think your getting the gist of what I’m saying. I’ll give you a link to their site so your can see for yourself an example of what positive free information can do for your online business.
I’m sure there are other sites that do this as well. However, there are still other sites that’ll offer free information, with a catch. Once you click the submit button your redirected to a page that’ll offer you tons of bonuses, plus, a sure way to take your business over the top, for a small fee of: $27.00, $67.00, $97.00, or higher. This could be a good thing if the products or tools do exactly what it proclaims to do. However, I recommend that before you get your credit card out, do your homework first. I remember spending $67.00 here, $97.00 there. No matter the cost, I spent money on something that was supposed to make my online business better than what it was. By the way, I can honestly say that I don’t remember exactly what it was I purchased. Which is pretty sad, but I wanted my business to grow fast. At that point I had to ask myself: “If I don’t remember what I purchased, then how was this information going to be a vital part of my online marketing business? “
In contrast, I’ve received offers that were free. What I got was informative. The tools were helpful and I utilized them at no cost to me.
I recommend you do your homework. I’m suggesting you look up a tool you may need on your web site, such as, an auto responder for instance. You can Google it or your search engine. When I did this, a few came up that offered a free trial period. Trial periods are great. Especially if it is at least 30 days. I refer to it as a test drive. It’s even better when you don’t have to put any credit card information down to have access to it. Keep in mind that there are other auto responders that will give you a free test drive also.
So back to downloading free information. If it works, go for it. If you don’t opt into the extended, $97.00 bonus info, then that’s fine. I’ve found I’ll either eventually buy it, or more than likely find it in a search engine.
To You Success!
