Do You Try To Fix Your Men?

Are you afraid of being alone?

Many great women like you are terrified of the idea of living on their own, without a man in their lives. And what’s more surprising is that most of these women don’t even know that they’re afraid of being alone - but they show it in the relationships that they get into. There’s a certain pattern that these women’s relationships follow, and it never ends well - in fact, it’s a downward spiral that only makes these women feel worse the more time passes.

Here are some common patterns followed by women who are afraid of being alone. Check to see if you’re one of them without even knowing it.

Dating “unavailable” men. Unavailable men are those who don’t seem to like the idea of commitment very much. These are the men who are in the dating game simply for the fun of it, and aren’t really looking for someone to settle down with. If you keep finding yourself dating these kinds of men, it may be a sign that you’re afraid of being alone.

Many women get into relationships with unavailable men in hopes of “changing” the minds of these men about settling down. But it’s never that easy to change how a man looks at his future, so these women often find themselves getting into relationships that go exactly the same way their last did.

Being all “needy.” Some women simply can’t live without a boyfriend, and tend to rush into a relationship with the first man who goes out with them. They act all clingy with these men and never say no to any of their requests, thinking that if he could get everything he needed with them, there wouldn’t be any reason for him to leave.

The truth is, if men think it’s too easy to please you, they start seeing you as predictable - and predictable isn’t really all that fun for them. It wouldn’t be long before they start looking for girls who are more fun and unpredictable. And when that happens, it’s never pretty.

Being too “forgiving.” This might be the worst one of the three - no matter how abusive, unmanageable, or disrespectful your boyfriend gets, you still put up with his misbehavior in desperate hopes of keeping him for as long as you can. Women who follow this pattern refuse to accept the fact that they’re fighting a losing battle.

So if you ever find yourself mired in any of the patterns mentioned above, do yourself a favor and MOVE ON. Instead of trying to keep a hopeless relationship going for as long as you can, take a step back and center your attention into yourself. Who are you? Do you present yourself as someone a man would like to spend the rest of his life with?

Remember that the best men out there (those who are actually catches) look for women who are smart, attractive, independent, and - probably most of all - fun to be with. They’re looking for women who can make them look forward to the next time they meet simply because they’re so interesting.

In other words, if you’d like to fix your man, try fixing what’s troubling you first.
